ACT! as single database

How many people use ACT! as their sole database?  Where else are you tracking your contacts?  QuickBooks, Access?  We keep contacts in ACT!, SalesLogix, QuickBooks and plan to transfer everything to a SQLServer based database and use it as our main database.

I know we are not uncommon.

Different databases often mean different segmenting.  For instance, if your customers are in QuickBooks, you are most likely billing them, so why not send them email from QuickBooks that is announcing new product upgrades to their current solutions.  If you are keeping them in ACT!, you may be prospecting, send email from ACT! that is less promotional and more informational.

How many databases are you using to track your customers?
