FAQ Friday: Advance Template Editor

Q: What is the “Advanced Template Editor Information” screen that appears?  What is happening?

A: As of mid-2010, Swiftpage has made its new advanced template editor standard for all users.  The advanced template editor contains the same templates as Swiftpage’s former template editor, but also allows for editing of imported HTML templates as well.

For information on how to use the Advanced Template Editor, click here.  If you have any questions about the advanced editor, please contact Swiftpage support at 877-228-8377, or chat with us online.

The message you see when you first open the advanced template editor reads: “The Advanced Editor gives you the ability to edit imported HTML templates.  The editor is designed for the user that has HTML experience and is looking for a more free form editing experience.  As with many HTML editing environments, it is recommended to use tables to contain images and text sockets.  As this is a web-based HTML editor it is strongly recommended to test email templates in multiple providers (Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, etc…) to ensure layout consistency.”  You can choose to hide this message in the future or to see it again.
