FAQ Friday: Drip Marketing Double Header

Q: Is there a limit to how many contacts I can sync to my Drip Marketing Campaign?

A: If you are using the Swiftpage Connect List Manager, you are able to sync up to 9,000 contacts to a drip marketing campaign. Those 9K must be in a single group as you can only sync 1 group to a drip marketing campaign.

If you are using ACT!, SalesLogix or SageCRM, you can sync multiple groups to a campaign and there is no limit.

Q: How does the history record work with Drip Marketing? I don’t see the history record written upon the launch of a sequence.

A: The reason that the history record is not written is that Swiftpage does not write into history until results from a Drip Marketing sequence are received.  (In other words, Swiftpage does not write a History record upon the initial launch.)  When someone opens and email and then clicks a link for example, the next day the sender can go back into ACT! and click the “Drip Marketing” tab > Campaign Results button to retrieve the info.  The history record looks slightly different with a Drip Marketing sequence.
