At Bright Peak, sometimes we forget to take our own advice. Our former website was in need of a facelift, but we were so busy helping our clients to create great designs we forgot about our own. Recently, we’ve taken a little ‘me time’ and created a new Bright Peak website to improve our client’s experience.
As we sat at the drawing board, we knew we wanted a website that would:
• Be easy to navigate
• Be pleasing to the eye
• Offer an easier way to get in touch with us
• Give examples of our body of work
• Answer our most commonly asked questions in an accessible format
To meet our goals, we started with the design. We chose a simple, timeless look for the new site. The new design is lighter, brighter, and easier to read. New icons were designed to attract the eye and give continuity to the site. Once the design was laid out, we took the navigation and simplified it, creating an ‘easy to find what you are looking for’ menu. Services were broken down in a more logical manner and the content on each page was dramatically shortened. Each service page now provides details about what is included with the service, how much time it will take, examples of work, and pricing information. We added the contact form to the footer of every page allowing clients to contact us easily when they are ready to begin their project. Finally, we added a FAQ page to answer the most common questions clients ask us. We presented the FAQs in an expandable form, making it easy to find answers to questions quickly.
