FAQ Friday: What are some underused Swiftpage features?

Our newest releases, Swiftpage Social Sharing and Lead Builder, have been basking in the limelight. Since these releases, we’ve realized that there are some underappreciated and underutilized features lurking in your Swiftpage account — the Cinderellas of Swiftpage. Each of these stepchildren deserves to find their glass slipper and show you just what they are made of. Thus we begin another series with:

What is the Swiftpage Survey Tool?

The Swiftpage Survey Tool puts the power of web forms at your fingertips. Using the tool you are able to create forms to collect valuable information from your customers. A unique URL is generated for each survey form which can easily be linked to from any email template, website, email, social media outlet, etc. For those of you with more advanced HTML knowledge, you can even embed a Swiftpage survey on your website and the information will populate back into your Swiftpage account or database.

The Survey tool gives you a wide range of question options such as true/false, multiple choice, fill in the blank, and ranking. For branding continuity, the tool allows you to use one of your Swiftpage templates as a survey background and link to a custom landing page or a URL of your choice. The results are collected by Swiftpage and can be emailed to you, populate back to your database, and you can download them in Excel format at any time. The Swiftpage Survey tool has been used to:

  • Collect RSVPs for events
  • Poll a customer base for their opinion on a product
  • Gain new subscribers to email newsletters
  • Facilitate ordering processes
  • Add contacts to an automated Drip Marketing campaign
  • Request feedback on recent events
  • How will you use it?

This post has some great ideas of how to use web forms to your advantage as well. Next week we will give another Cinderella its day in the spotlight. Until then, give the Swiftpage Survey Tool a try and let us know how you used it.
