Questions to ask yourself:

  1. Make a list of your current market positions. Circle those where your competitors also have a major presence.
  2. Now, brainstorm a list of market areas where you don’t currently have a major presence. Circle those where your competitors have a major presence.
  3. Take a look at both lists side by side and select 3 areas to attack the market. Set down a strategy and a timeline with your team right away.
