What Businesses Should Use Email Marketing?

Absolutely any business!  In many trainings I’ve done I’ve heard objections about there not being a need for use of email marketing within certain professional industries.  Common industries I hear objections for are:

  • plumbers
  • roofers
  • home inspectors
  • engineering companies
  • lawyers

I’ve seen success from all of the industries above when they use email marketing.  Email marketing consistently delivers one of the best ROIs in the marketing realm. In fact, the Direct Marketing Association shows an ROI of $40.56 for every $1 invested in 2011. They project that the figure will drop to $39.40 this year, when email will account for $67.8 billion in sales! Read more about the economics of email marketing here >

The Bottom Line: Email marketing is an extremely inexpensive way to build your business with very minimal effort, and we can all agree that’s a great thing these days!

What other businesses can you think of that should be utilizing email marketing but might not know it? What businesses would you like to receive email from?
