Day 15: iTunes Inspires to Dress Up Your Transactional Emails
Subject Line: Your receipt No.1440347…
Industry: Music, Multimedia
Type of Email: Transactional
iTunes teaches us transactional emails can be stylized and match your branding. Whether you send out invoices, receipts, updates, or order confirmations, make sure your emails all carry consistent aesthetics. Dressing up your transactional emails also shows your customer you care about your company, your services, and ultimately them. Professional transaction emails build creditability and trust for your brand. If you simply send a plain text email with one sentence for receipts, chances are it will end up in the spam filter and you will not have repeat business.
Transaction emails should include:
- your logo
- contact information
- order details (name, quantity, price)
- billing information (customer details and order numbers)
You can also include suggestions or additional information that would be helpful to your customers.
Is there anything you would like iTunes to add to their emails?
