28 Days of Email Inspiration: Day 16

We love email…and we love sharing our passion with you. During the month of February aka the “month of love”, we will be featuring one email a day with tips, commentary and more from industry experts.

Day 16: AT&T Inspired Us to Add a Little Fun to Your Newsletters

Subject Line: Your AT&T Newsletter‏
Industry: Telecommunications, Wireless
Type of Email: Monthly Newsletter

We liked AT&T’s monthly newsletter because it reminded us to keep newsletters fun and informative. Particularly, we liked the inclusion of a crossword and poll. Other elements that work well in this newsletter are: rounded graphics to match AT&T branding; L-shaped borders; branded and colorful section titles; and mix of images (people, icons, and products). We are a bit melancholy about the subject line though.

What fun elements do you add to your newsletters? In the past, Swiftpage Connect’s Thoughtspot Newsletter, has featured infographics, videos, and SwiftDOKU.  Check it out and subscribe.
