Marketing Moment: Be Passionate – A Lesson from a Home Brewer

We spent some time this weekend at my Uncle Scott’s house. He is a home brewer and makes some phenomenal beer. He is working up to opening his own brewery.

I don’t consider myself a beer connoisseur, but when I am with him I can’t help but become passionate about beer! He describes each flavor with a mystifying combination of information overload and simplicity. Scott brings his guests along on the beer journey and imparts some of his passion onto you on the way.

So, what does this have to do with marketing? Everything. When you are passionate about your product or service, people take note. Something in us loves to be around passionate people. And when we are around passionate people, it is easy to pick up some of their passion.

Therefore, be passionate about what you do and share your passion with those you meet. Trust me, it will rub off.
